Prayer & Praise Report

July 2008

Hi Friends,

We are somewhat behind in sending out our report so decided to post this one on the back of the June issue. Our summer is really moving on. No lazy, hazy, crazy days here (well, a few crazy ones with iguanas, a parrot, other critters and kids everywhere! ) We have been blessed to have many groups and families come to hear and see the testimony from creation regarding our wonderful Creator/Redeemer.

Prayer and Praise

One particular group that came recently (see back side) were sent by their parole officer. These teens were hostile and rude when they first arrived. We prayed as we conducted the tour/program and God worked a miracle. Just one hour after they arrived with “an attitude” these teens were friendly and asking if they could come back! What a clear manifestation that God truly answers pray and can change hearts when people begin to understand the message of His word. It is our privilege to be the Lord’s voice to many such people who come in, who don’t have a clue as to the purpose and meaning of their lives. God’s word, accompanied by the testimony of creation clearly speaks to the heart about His love for His creation and His plans and purposes for our lives. We believe the seeds of truth planted here will bring forth eternal fruit in God’s time.

Praise that the vandals who continued to damage our property seem to have stopped.

Pray for wisdom about extending our radio program to a secular station in September.

Pray for a trip to minister to several hundred children in San Antonio on July 31st.

Pray for good facility organization. We are making progress but still need to re-arrange some “stuff” for more efficiency in the office and museum area.

Pray for more helpers who can take some responsibilities off our shoulders. Praise that he Lord is sending some…we need more.

Pray for adequate funds to hire another part-time staff person that we need.

There are so many opportunities. Please pray for wisdom, efficiency and power to accomplish God’s will as we serve Him in this unique place. Have a blessed summer.
